Unable to delete backup files / folders

As per my last post, I tried to consolidate my backup data, this did not work. I then deleted my 'Partition Backup' in Acronis, then tried to manually delete the existing backup files / folders. No matter what I do I cannot delete this data, I cannot. I get an error (see attached). Is there some way either in the Acronis program, or otherwise, to delete this data. All I want to do is clean up my backup drives and start with a fresh backup scheme. Once again, can someone PLEASE help me, I'm about ready to uninstall the software and use some backup product that's less confusing! I an running Acronis True Image Home 2011 (rel 3) on Windows 7 (64 bit) OS
