Unable to Delete Backup Versions

Thread needs solution

I'm using a Windows 8 laptop and Acronis True Image Home 2014 Build 6673 Sync Agent Version 17,0,0,1877.

The help file says to delete a version of my backup, I should:

1. On the Backup and recovery tab, find the corresponding backup box and click the Recover button or click the gear icon and then click Recover files (in case of a disk backup).
2. In Backup explorer, right-click on the time line the version you want to delete, and then click Delete version.

However, these options are not available to me. I can click on the Backup and Recovery Tab. I can click the Recover button. However, when I click the Recover button next to the appropriate backup, I am not sent to the Backup Explorer, and I'm unable to delete versions.

I've discovered the workaround is to click on the gear icon and click Recover files. Only then do I get the Backup Explorer. Then I can right-click on the appropriate version and delete it from the database and my storage location.

These have been my suggestions included in my guides for several years for deleting using 2013 or 2014.
