Unable to Mount Image - Will the image work to restore

Thread needs solution

Since I upgraded to TI 2012, I have not been able to mount the images, however, I can explore them with not problem.

Since the image will not mount, will it work if I need to restore the hard drive?

I am using Windows 7 on an HP-190t computer.

The mounting operation can fail because of driver issues, it shouldn't prevent you from restoring. The fact that you can explore them (I assume you mean you can double click on the TIB file using Windows Explorer) is a good way to test a backup.

The best test is to boot your computer on the recovery CD and try to recover a couple of files from your backup.

Thank you very much. I was thinking that I would have to try to restore the entire disk to see if it was working. This would really be counter productive if it ended up messing up my disk which is currently working well! Yes, I found no problem when I double click on the TIB file in Win Explorer.

Thank you again!
