Unable to open newly-installed TI 2015

Thread needs solution

When I open Acronis it immediately opens an error window stating that "An unexpected error has occurred . . . " Presumably I should be able to enter a description of the error but Windows then puts the focus on its own error windows indicating that it is searching for a solution for the problem. Acronis is then closed.

I tried phoning support at 718-782-9000 but after a few rings it hangs up. This has happened multiple times.

I tried creating a support ticket but I have to enter the error code # but such a number does not exist for this error so I am unable to submit the ticket.

Something is wrong with Acronis on several levels here.

I'd attach the crash dump file but it is empty.

Is this a first fresh installation?
Which version of Windows?
You run the TI cleanup utility via my signature link 4 below and then do another install after the cleanup.

I have done a full uninstall of Acronis True Image 2015 (I never purchased 2014). I have now reinstalled it and the same problem occurs. There is no error code and Windows seeks for a solution and then closes it down. I was able to install Acronis Disk Director 12 and run it without a problem.

Have you disabled your Anti-Virus to make sure the AV is not the issue.

Did you contact Acronis via the Live Chat?

Running the cleanup utility will also remove the DD12. You did an uninstall but did you use the cleanup?
