unable to restore on a diff drive ? acronis true image v 11

Thread needs solution

When win 7 is installed on a drive it creates a system reserved space of 100 mb which is the first partition on the drive. This partition does not show when win 7 is booted. Then it installs on the c: drive. I like to install the programs on d: drive. When I do a full backup, I can restore it later on the same drive. But, when I try to restore on another drive, it says bootmanager is missing ?
When I try to restore, I get to see the 100 mb partition, c: drive, d: drive and finally mbr. I try to restore c:,d: drives on another hdd which I have already partitioned. I also restore the mbr to the 2nd drive. Still the boot manager is missing. Then I make another partition before c: drive and restore that 100 mb on this parition. Still the same issue ?

What am I doing wrong when trying to restore the image to another drive ?

You need to restore the system reserved partition and the MBR+track0 if you restore to a new disk.
The boot manager is in the system reserved partition.
