UNC path to my backup

Thread needs solution

I am trying to restore my backup data using ti2015.

OS windows 10

Is using maped driver. Have found this:

If you edit a backup task and set a mapped drive as a destination,
specify the full UNC path to the destination network location
(e.g. \\server\share\backups)
instead of selecting the destination as a mapped driver

Is using USB disk , backup data is on USB disk,

I am cømplete lost. anyone that can give some help in how to create  unc path,  pc is win 10 and backup data on usb disk.

Hell Kjell,

If your backup data is on a USB disk drive, then you do not need to use UNC paths - that is only required for Network drive connections.

Please see forum post: 117004: Great Acronis "How-To" videos and other Acronis Resources which has some good videos that can help guide you through the steps needed to restore your backup data.

I would also recommend that you read the ATIH 2015 User Guide section on Recovering data

If you need the documentation in a different language, then go to http://www.acronis.com/en-gb/support/documentation/legacy.html then choose your own language at the top of the page.
