Uninstall Acronis True Home Image 11 to install the new version of Acronis True Home Image 2010

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I already created a full backup on my computer with Acronis True Home Image 11.

Do I need to uninstall Acronis True Home Image 11 from my Windows XP Home Edition with Service Pack 3 then reboot and install the trial version of Acronis True Home Image 2010?

I need the steps for uninstalling Acronis True Home Image 11 from my computer successfully so that there will be no conflicts in the Windows XP registry.

Please reply back soon.

Thanks

Hello Egan,

Thank you for using Acronis True Image

We recommend you completely uninstall Acronis True Image 11 Home before installation of Acronis True Image Home 2010 using the following KB article

Thanks Dmitry
For your explanation and the link to article for uninstalling previous version of Acronis True Image Home.

Hi,

am having serious problems with ATI 11 of late (constant disc activity and system locks up) and want to do complete unistall and re-install.

Previously a happy user!

Can't get access to article on uninstall previously refered to.

Thanks for any help

I have a similar problem where I get "configuration data for this product is corrupt" trying to uninstall True Image Home 12. I also have had trouble with this support web site e.g. Access Denied on pages they say to go to. Anyway, what worked for me was Revo Uninstaller http://www.revouninstaller.com/ ... there is a free trial.
