Uninstall True Image 2014 - What is best method

Thread needs solution

I would like to uninstall True Image 2014 and have been reading the article

"34876: Acronis True Image: Cleanup Utility"

The first option is the Control Panel/uninstall program option.

The 2nd option is running the EXE installation file.

What is the name of the EXE file? Is it this file ↓

C:\Program Files (x86)\Acronis\TrueImageHome\TrueImage.exe ?

The PC is a Dell OptiPlex 3020 with Windows 7x64 Professional .

Disable Secure Zones and Acronis Startup Recovery Manager, if you had enabled them.

Uninstall ATI, using Control Panel's "Add or remove programs".

Run the Acronis True Image Cleanup Utility for 2010-2014: http://kb.acronis.com/content/34876
Be careful to follow all instructions, including not allowing the utility to reboot until you've made the Registry edits.

Thanks for the info :) I missed the "Cleanup Utility" download link when I read that article.

If, after running the Cleanup Utiliy, there were some of the Registry vaiues mentioned in article 34876 still present, I'd need to delete them. Is that corrent?

Yes, prior to allowing a reboot.

"10-4" Thanks again :)
