Uninstalled ATI2010 - Reinstalled ATI2009

Thread needs solution

I had posted a thread a few days ago about a problem with ATI2010 b5055 in mounting images. After starting the mount process, about one minute later I would get a message saying 'Unable to Assign Drive Letter'. In spite of this message, the images were mounting.

Now, after minimizing and then maximizing the TI main screen, only the top 1/4 of the GUI is visible. The rest of the window is transparent (light silver tone) and my desktop is visible through the lower 3/4 of the GUI. Minimizing and maximizing a few times solves the problem and the entire ATI main screen is visible.

ATI2009 b9796 was working well for me (I only use basic features and the rescue CD for backup/restore). Learned a good lesson. Something about if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Maybe others will have better luck than I did.

Hello dh27564,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Could you please let us investigate the issue and do the following?

- Download the file;
- Run the downloaded file
The gathered information will be put in adv_report.zip in the same folder, where the AcronisInfo was saved.
Running AcronisInfo may take up to 5 minutes.

Could you please make screenshot of this minimized window?

If you are not familiar with making screen shots, please read the below step-by-step instructions.

- Get to the window which you want to make a screen shot of;
- Hit the (Alt+)PrintScreen button on your keyboard;
- Run Paint usually available in Start\Programs\Accessories or another graphics application;
- Choose Paste command in Edit menu;
- Save the result picture in JPEG format being preferable.

Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the issue appears and the link to this thread. We will do our best to investigate the problem and provide you with a solution.

Thank you.
