Unique Situation, need input from Acronis

Thread needs solution

Good evening, I've been a long time user of Acronis True Image, WD Edition and by far I love it's ease of use as well as options.

However, I've run into a unique situation that I'm hoping the good folks at Acronis can address.

I work on computers, usually installing a clean build of the OS, then selling them.

What I would like to do is take a full image of the 'clean' HDD and create a bootable 'Recovery CD/DVD' that I can provide with the machine.

I want to have it as simple as possible, all the customer has to do is pop the disc in, boot, hit a key and start the process. I've pondered different ways I could do this, including taking the image with TI's Bootable media, copying it to the machine where TI Home resides, then create another bootable DVD with the image file on there and either a batch file, or preferably a one-click type restore that requires very little user input.

Suggestions? I really don't want to have to install TI on every machine I build just to take an image and create the Recovery ISO.

Thanks in advance,

This can be done with a bit of fiddling.

There is another easier option which would be to make an SZ and then activate the ASRM - store the tib image there, then if the customer needs to restore the system they can at boot time by pressing the F11 key.

Of course you are trying to cover what happens if the hard drive dies, it would be easier to use either a small USB stick or an external drive which can be made bootable.

Are you intending to use the WD edition or are you using a full version of TI?

Either version. I was also thinking, like I mentioned before, to create a .ISO of the Bootable Media, then edit it to copy the .TIB onto a DVD when it's created, and have a script to run TI and recover with little to no user interaction.

If I could re-create the Dell hidden partition, I could do that as well, but the older systems I don't know what they used, if they used TIB or Norton / Symantec.
