Universal Restore errors - Device driver '*TOS1900' for 'Windows 7' cannot be found

Thread needs solution

I downloaded the driverpack from http://drp.su/drivers/notebooks/?v=Toshiba&m=Satellite%20C655D&id=1216&… for my Toshiba. I am restoring a non-Toshiba laptop image to the Toshiba laptop using Universal Restore.

The driverpack is on a USB drive and I pointed to the root of the folder of the driverpack heirarchy when prompted by Universal Restore.

I get the following errors:
Device driver '*TOS1900' for 'Windows 7' cannot be found

Next error:
Device driver '*TOS1901' for 'Windows 7' cannot be found

For each error, the only options I get are:
Ignore, Ignore All, Cancel

I thought I read that I would have the options to browse to a folder in the event a driver was not found??

I've been searching for awhile but still unclear on what exactly TOS1900 and TOS1901 are and how to make sure those drivers are available to UR.

Can anyone please help me out?
Also, does UR examine the entire folder heirarchy (i.e. including subfolders) of the specified folder to find each appropriate driver, or do I need to put all the drivers into the specified folder only?

Sam,

The drivers need to be in an unpacked format. You cannot browse to a specific driver, you only point at where your drivers are stored. In doubt, I would put all the drivers in the specified folder only.

You could try to copy the entire Windows32/drivers folder from you Toshiba laptop.
