Universal Restore feature missing?
So I have windows 8 enterprise with Acronis 2013 + Plus Pack (Build 6514). I try to create bootable, and it says true-image or system report.
Universal restore is missing.
From my memory with acronis 2011 the universal restore function would be there to make a compatible disk.
So what is up? Did my plus pack install successfully? anyway to test? Thank you.

Hello I created an USB boot.
It says Plus pack in the screen.
I went to backup- restore backup. Choose my Backup created with Acronis 2011. (just to test to see if universal restore is there, intend to create new backup)
Then I was at the Recovery Wizard, and proceeded steps. Untill I got notice that I needed to choose location of saving, and the drives would lose data.
Not sure if I Should pressed OK at that stage(since I dont want to lose the data just yet just testing afterall!) that they would be immediatly formatted if I press OK or it would happen at the final - finishing step. Because the next step said Resoration Method, this is I think where you can see Universal Restore I think???
Can someone verify this?
Also is it possible to save part of the backup to one disk and the next part to another? for example I have 2x 1.36 TB 2 seperate drives at my disposal but the backup would be atleast 2.11 TB. But not enough space to save entire backup on one drive.

I suggest you download the latest ISO from your account, making sure you select the Plus Pack version and then burn that to a CD.

Please read my post.
I already did that. Im asking specific information as to the GUI in the wizard while doing this. Also the question if it is possible to spread parts of backups across several different disks.

You can set ATI to split a backup into CD or DVD sized chunks. You could then copy those to different disks, though I don't know why you'd want to. You cannot have a backup span multiple target hard drives.

Well My backup is approx. 1.36+1.10 TB. (2 drives, one OS +games, other more games)
I only have 1.61 TB free on one drive 602 GB on another and 547 GB on the last.
So I wouldn't be able to backup on the freespace I have?
Other question as to making sure universal restore works :
I went to backup- restore backup. Choose my Backup created with Acronis 2011. (just to test to see if universal restore is there, intend to create new backup)

If you restore a disk image, anything currently on the target disk will be deleted during the restore.
You should restore from the bootable Rescue Media, not from within Windows.

I am restoring from using the bootable media on usb stick!
So I im this wizard like I explained at that point if you can get that? SOMETIMES with wizards, it doesn't actually delete the data righ away and waits until 1 or 2 steps until the "finish' "complete" "proceed" button is pushed and some kind of overview, while others it does it instantly. if you know what I mean.
I need to find out if universal restore option is present. AND NOT by reading just plus pack etc.. I need to know it unequivalently sure seeing the option for my face, that's how I roll.
That's why I ask. As Im SURE some people have run through the wizard before, and thus can tell me if it does it directly or it doesn't and I can try to see if it says universal restore option.
Thanks a lot if you can tell me this!

Universal Restore is available as an option when you create the Rescue Media from a True Image installation that includes the Plus Pack.
I don't know if deletion occurs instantly, or following later steps. Someone else would have to answer that one.
