Updated Blue Screen Stop Error Message

Hi

I have been getting the Blue Screen Error Message when running the trial version of Acronis True Image Home 2010 first time during One-Click Backup operation.

And Also each time when I click on One-Click Backup in Tools & Utilities section of ATIH 2010.

The Stop Error Message is : STOP c000021a Unknown Hard Error, Unknown Hard Error

I will attach the technical files for you to look at in order to find a solution for this problem mentioned above.

Hello Egan,

I will do my best to solve the issue you experience. Analyzing the crush dump I have found that the source of the issue is hpwucli.exe process. You didn’t include sysinfo file to your diagnostic info so I searched in Google what this process responsible for and found out that hpwucli.exe is a HP Software Update Client from Hewlett-Packard belonging to HP Software Update Client.

In order to investigate the issue I would recommend you to disable that process from Task Manager (hit CTRl + ALT + DEL -> Task Manager -> Processes -> find hpwucli.exe -> end process) and see if the issue persists. If the issue doesn’t reproduce I would recommend you update HP drivers or disable that process each time you use Acronis True Image Home 2010.
