upgrade to home 2010 from home 2009

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I want to update from true image home 2009 to home 2010 to take advantage of the online and continuous local backup offers, however I am running windows XP 32 bit, but at SP2, not SP3. I have been unsuccessful in my 2 attempts to update to XP sp3 so I have given up on that update. eventually, I will be moving to windows 7, but I would like to know if the upgrade to home 2010 works with XP 32 bit sp2.

The specs indicate XP32bit sp3 , but home 2009 works for me fine.

Thanks

Kev

Hello Kev,

Thank you for posting. I will certainly assist you.

We test our software using the latest Microsoft service packs. There can be minor issues with Service Pack 2 which were fixed in Service Pack 3 for example. Some of our operations use Windows API and if there are problems with service pack versions, they are not major and we rarely have such issues.

I would recommend to download and install a trial version of the program to check its functionality. Otherwise, you can wait until you move to Windows 7 and make an update then.

Please let me know if you need additional assistance.

Thank you.
