Upgrade from TIH10 to 12 without a working TIH10

Thread needs solution

Hello wise friends

In my old OS WinXP TIH10 worked without problems. However, OS was old and it was time to try Win 7 64bit now that I've upgraded RAM from 2 to 8 GB.
I install TIH10 without problems under Win 7, but when I start the program after reboot, OS says that it is not possible to run the program.
I've tried to run it as Admin, under XP and so forth, but always the same answer from Win 7
Say OK, Maby they TIH10 wont work in 64bit OS and its Maby time to upgrade the program to TIH12. And now the question:

What upgrades do I need when I do not have a program of work according to my new OS->
Upgrade from Previous Version // Peer upgrade?

Still have my license key, but the new installation (upgrade) of TIH12 dependent on a working installed application or can I install on top of it not acting program?

Friendly greetings from Denmark

First lets get clear about what verisons yo are talking about ATI 10 and ati12(which was actually called ati2009) or ati2010 and ati2012?

I wouldn't expect ati10 to run under w7.
I'd tried uninstalling then installing as an adminstrator and for all users. You should be able to install ati2012 without an existing ati installation. In fact, as a rule, ati is best when installaed with any prevous versions uninstalled.

Allan,

I have WIN 7 Pro x64bit and had 2010 installed and running fine, for the most part. I would suggest trying to get it working as 2012 is a heap of problems right now, especially under WIN 7 x64. You can see by mine and others previous posts what problems folks have run into, BSODs. On the other hand I did install 2012 on a laptop running Windows Home Premium x32bit and so far haven't had any problems with it. But it's only been a few days or so.
