Upgrade from True Image Home 2011

Thread needs solution

Hi
Because of the possibility that my current version, True Image Home 2011 (box version), will not work with Windows 10 if I upgrade to True Image Home 2015 how do I recover should I need to? At present I place the bootable CD/DVD in the CD/DVD ROM drive and start my PC.

If I am understanding you that you put the TI Recovery CD into the tray and use it to boot into Windows, this procedure is not neceswarry and not the norm.

The CD should only be inserted when you want to boot into the TI Recovery CD for using the TrueImage programs located on the CD

Remove the TrueImge CD and boot your computer.
If it fails to boot with a message that it cannot find the boot disk, then you need to

Turn the computer back on and look for a prompt that says something like "Press F12 for Boot Options" or "Press F9 for Boot Devices". Please note that the key will vary depending on your computer. You will need to press it as soon as you see it, so be ready.

Change the bios settings so the boot option is your hard drive rather than the CD device.
