upgrading from 2010 to 2011 questions

Thread needs solution

I am using True Image 2010 and am interested in upgrading to 2011. I already downloaded the Trial Version, but before installing it, some Qs:

1. Do I have to uninstall the old version before installing the trial version, or will it overwrite the old one?

2. If I do not like the 2011 version, can I get back to my old one by uninstalling that and reinstalling the old .exe file, then putting in my key number?

3. I have read about 2011 but am concerned about a new learning curve. Is it as bad a MS Windows, changing everything? Or is it intuitive enough to confine using without hassles?

4. Is there any place where I can view screen shots of the new version? If so, link?

Thanks for any help.

1- Do a backup before installing 2011. Uninstall 2010, reboot, install 2011
2- Or restore the backup!
3- There are big differences in UI. Many 2010 users hate 2011. I like 2011 better than 2010. Your mileage will vary.
4- Check out the True Image Home 2011 Lite guide on the left panel.

NB: if you are happy with 2010, if your recovery CD works well on your computer and you don't use Non-Stop Backup, T&D, you are just fine with 2010. 2011 introduced disk partition NSB and more flexible T&D, but you still need to use these functions in addition to traditional backup.

Thanks, Pat, what you wrote was helpful. I think i will stay with 2010, for as you say, everything works just fine for me, and don't really need any of the perks in the new version. And from looking at the GUI pages, I don't really care for them that much.
