Upgrading (TI Home 11 (Box) > newest on Win 7 x64)

Thread needs solution

I have True Image Home 11 sealed in a box. I will do a clean install of Win 7 x64 on a pair of drives (Raid 0). I want to upgrade to the newest version of True Image Home. What are the appropriate steps?

Should I first install True Image Home 11 on my Win 7 x64 machine and then upgrade?

If you intend to purchase an upgrade to v2010, there is no need to install v11.

All you will need is the serial number for v11 so that the upgrade version of 2010 will install. The upgrade will ask you for your previous licence number and your 2010 licence number.

If you intend to purchase the full version of 2010 then you won't need the TI11 licence number.

Prior to purchasing anything, I'd recommend registering your TI 11 licence on the Acronis website under the My Account tab.
