USB compact flash not working after TrueImage installation

Thread needs solution

I have installed TrueImage on Windows XP and now my USB compact flashdrive (Lexar) and Blackberry USB drive's are very slow to be recognized by XP. Also I cannot now use a compact flash programming utility which I need for work as it complains that another process has locked the drive. This was all working before installing TruImage. I browsed the forums and there was a suggestion to install snapapi and virtualdisk which I have done however the problem persists.

I don't know how common this is may be, but I seem to face the same problem(s). Running ATIH 2012 and I find the the performance of USD flash drives is almost brought to a halt with ATIH running. In addition the computers seem to take a very long time in recognizing the flash drives. Prior to ATIH 2012, this was not the case.
