Use bootable Acronis to recover onto VMWare

Hi,

I have backed up a virtual machine using Acronis True Image Home 2011 and want to try recovering it. I have created a new virtual machine through VSphere and was considering booting from Acronis bootable CD to perform the recovery. Is there any chance that this will affect any of the other VMs on this server? I'm assuming not, as I have installed windows by booting from Windows CDs, but I don't want to take any chances!
