Use TrueImage's Post Processing to run Karen's Replicator

Thread needs solution

If you are one those users who assist TrueImage by additionally using Karen's Replicator, I have discovered that I can run Replicator as part of the Post Processing function of TrueImage.

For example. I have TI backups directed to one of my external eSata drives which is attached only on demand.. I also direct some of Replicator folder copies to the same external. Running Replicator as a post task enables me to have both done in one function.

1. Open Replicator and define its copying job.
2. Click on the "Save Shortcut to job" button
3. Checkmark the job or multiple jobs being included in the shortcut.
4. Click the "Save Shortcut" button
5. Click the Save button inside the Save Window. This will create a desktop shortcut.
6. Click the Exit button twice to close Replicator.
7. Right click on the desktop shortcut, click properties and copy or print the Target information.
8. Open a True Image task and add the shortcut path to the "Backup options/after backup process" window. It is preferable that a new task be created rather than try to accurately edit an existing task.

Great stuff Grover

Karen's Replicator should be the chosen tool for everyone to backup data files

True Image for a drive/partition backup and Karen' Replicator for data files.

Keep things simple. Separate tools for separate jobs.
