user and password

Thread needs solution

The data backup went to 30.9.2016 perfectly. After this, the user name or password failed.
Where can I store the user and password? About options, I find no point where I can deposit as.
Access to the directories to be protected via Explorer.

In my error message is unfortunately no click on "edit connection" possible. I can not enter the user name and password anywhere.

Also with a new task is unfortunately not. Did you look at the error message in PDF. I am unfortunately completely helpless.

Joachim,  a little bit is lost in translation from the screenshots since the messages are in a different language.  It looks like this is a network share issue?  If that is the case, in 2015, you need to clear the pervious crednetials from the registry, close Acronis and restart it and then it should prompt for credentials again.  Please see:

  • Credentials for the NAS itself when using SMB shares are stored atHKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Acronis\Connections\smb\<NAS name or ip>
  • Credentials for each top-level SMB share on the NAS that has been accessed at least once are atHKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Acronis\Connections\smb\<NAS name or ip>\<SMB share name>
  • Credentials for FTP server are saved in a separate key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Acronis\Connections\ftp\<FTP server address:port number>
