Using Acronis 2012 with Windows 8

Thread needs solution

From other posts I've read: Windows 8 is not yet compatible with Acronis 2012

BUT: I can use rescue media created with Acronis 2012 to backup a Windows 8 installation
Is this correct?

If so, what about the Plus Pack? I also have this because of Dynamic Disks used by Windows 7
To backup Windows 7, I need the Plus Pack

When I create the rescue media are the capabilities of the Plus Pack added to the disc created?

Thanks

Omar

If you have the 2012 main program and the 2012 plus pack installed, the bootable Rescue Media that you create will have the Plus Pack features in it. As an alternative, you can download the Plus Pack ISO bootable media from your Acronis account and burn the ISO to a disk.

Yes.

question: can u tell me where i can download the iso u refer to?

At Acronis.com, login to your account that you used to register your licence, if you did. If not, do it now. You'll be able to download the .exe installer and the .ISO of the Recovery Media (Rescue Media).

Those installers and ISOs get updated as newer builds are rleeased. You can always download the latest builds from there.
