validation of backups fail after copying to different drive

Thread needs solution

I"m guessing I cant be the only one with this problem so here it is.

i have 6 machines backing up to a shared network drive. ALL backups validate as they are made. each machine had multiple full disk backups and file backups with in a folder specifically for that machine.

everything was great until....

the shared drive was on a linux box and i needed to add some space to the fs because, hard to imagine i know, i underestimated how much space i would need. so I copied all the backups to a different location, rebuilt the fs (bigger) copied them all back to where they were before and made sure all the owner/permissions were the same before and after.

so i go out to my first machine and tell it to validate the first backup ( a file backup by the way) worked no problem, but EVERY backup after that first one I checked FAILED validation.

for all 6 computers the first backup i check (full disk or file ) the backup validates but all the rest fail.

all the errors are the same
Event code: Event code: 0x01EF0013+0x000B041D+0x00040007+0x0000FFF0+0x8007052E

i don't believe the backups are corrupted as i did a crc checksum on them before i moved them and after i put them back and they are the same. so whats going on and how can I fix it?

thanks for you time!
John

It looks like an access issue (I googled the components of your event code and they point to not finding the files or accessing because of credentials).
If you browse to the TIB file through a share, right click on it and then choose validate, does it make a difference?
If you rename the database.XML file located in C:|programdata\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Database, does it make a difference?
If you boot your computer on the recovery CD and try to validate from there, does it make a difference?
