Want Windows 7 System Recovery Disk not Acronis one

Thread needs solution

I want to create a Windows 7 System Recovery Disk. So I can boot to a working command line.
I already have the Acronis made recovery disks.

But when I go to Control Panel. open Backup and Restore, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking Backup and Restore - I should be able to select "Create a system repair disc" but an Acronis dialog is shown and it does not have that option, instead I can only create the Acronis recovery disk and it does not have the command line option.

How can I create the original Windows 7 System Recovery Disk?

Is the option still available from the Start Menu? Start >> All Programs >> Maintenance >> Create a System Repair Disc

Wow, thanks MudCrab. I had looked but not found it because I was focused on System Recovery. Did a search in the start menu for "create" and there it was buried under Accessories\Syetm Tools\Maintenance.
thanks again, I now have my disk!

I wrestled with this on my main laptop. Acronis True Image Home 2011 obscured the Backup And Restore option to create a Microsoft recovery disc. Uncool.
I can't run chkdsk /r to fix bad sectors from the Acronis recovery disc.
When googling I found several different and complicated ways to get to it. None worked for me. Frustration.
I tried the solutions above but they didn't exist on my system. More frustration.
Finally I went to a Win7 system without Acronis products, found the Create Recovery Disc option, ran it and found the EXE name in Task Manager.
Nowhere did I find the easiest way:
Hit Win-R (to run) and type recdisc [Enter]
Or just run it from the DOS command line (command prompt).

I hope I save others time and frustration in the future.

you can create a system repair disk for Windows 7 with the help of the "Create a System Repair Disc" wizard. it is a common way.
prepare: a blank CD/DVD
steps:
1). Go to Start menu > All Programs > Maintenance > Create a System Repair Disc.
2). Select a CD/DVD drive and insert a blank disc into the drive. Then click Create disc. Then Windows begins to creating the repair disc. This might take up to 5 minutes

After the process completes, an overview of the disc capabilities appears, which defines whether you can use the disc for repairing 32-bit or 64-bit editions of Windows 7.
