Webrestore is not working - how do I do a Cloud Restore with the True Image Software?

Thread needs solution

HI,

the cloud backup works fine. All the files an folders are beeing uploaded. But when I tried a restore, it actually did not work.

First I tried the webrestore. I selected a folder with about 100 Gb and tried to start the download. I tried it many times, but I only got an timeout. Unfortunately I did not find an option to do a cloud restore with the True Image 2014 software. Besides that it does not make sense to me, to download a zip file with 100 GB or even much more. It is very likely to have an internet connection interruption during the download and even if the whole file is downloaded, it take twice as much space to store the ZIP File and to unzip the data.

So please, how can I do a cloud restore without using the webrestore??

Thanks for the help
Ralf

I'm having the same problem with timeout of a big folder.
Support suggested my problem could be my machine or my internet connection speed, I believe neither to be the problem On my i7 with 16 GB's ram and 300 down/20 up and since my brother in another state is having the same problem with same good net speed.
Support also suggested trying a different browser, that didn't help me but it's worth a try.

Alternately the only way I see to download from cloud is to download smaller folders and files within that large folder and restore that way.

I presently have an open support ticket with Acronis on this matter.
I'll post here if anything gets resolved.

I did have to restore an entire drive from cloud because I accidentally formatted it.
That did restore everything to how the drive was, took 3 days to restore 450 GB's but it did work well.
