What does TIH2010.5055 backup?

Thread needs solution

I've setup TIH2010 b5055 to do daily incremental backup. As I wondered, why this incremental backup is 5 to 10 GB each day, I browsed through the TIB files.

There I noticed that in the full backup, all my excluded files and folders are not backed up, but in the incremental backups, they are. Isn't this strange?

Is there a way to get TIH2010 to show the list of files it actually backed up?

How large is the Full backup?

What OS are you using? Vista, in particular, seems to cause large incrementals.

Are any defrag programs running (including the Windows defrag)?

Build 5,055 is the release build. Have you tried updating to the latest build (6,053)?

As far as I know, there's no way to tell which files/folders where backed up in Incremental or Differential backups.

I'm using Win 7 Home Premium x64. I don't do an image backup, but file based backups. Therefore a defrag should not make a difference.

I tried build 6053, but removed it because it wasn't notifiying me about the missing backup destination anymore, as 5055 still does.

The question is, why are files, which are on my ignore list, included in the incremental backup?

How did you set your ignore list up, was it from the Options in the menu tab or from within the task itself?

If you've only got the ' ignores ' in one try putting it in the other as well.
