When booted to Acronis Startup Recovery Manager via CD AHCI Drives are not available

When I boot into Acronis Startup Recovery Manager with a created CD the drives set up in AHCI are not showing. My motherboard is Gigabyte GA-X79-UD5 and the SSD are Vertex 3MI 120g. I installed ATIH 2012 version to see if ATIH 2011 was the issue and still no luck. I got no answere over on the 2011 forum so I'm hoping someone has an idea over here.
