When I change settings and try to save them, I receive "Failed to Deploy" error.

I have the Acronis 2012 Home version. I had a virus that I was able to delete but left a lot of files encrypted. I got a "FAILED TO DEPLOY" error when I tried to save settings when doing a backup.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Acronis 2012 but still receive the same error. I found info that said that another task had locked an Acronis file and suggested I use Process Explorer to look for .tis file to see what task had the file locked. I didn't find in .tis files. Does anyone have a solution for this problem?
