Where are the ACRONIS internal data?

Thread needs solution

Hello

I have ACRONIS 2015 as a CD. It is however not installed because I very well cope with 2014.

A BACKUP of the entire PC runs daily, weekly and monthly, each with different number of versions. I'm also fairly often a restore. If something seems suspicious to me that I'm running a restore (it's just).

PROBLEM: I had to make 2 times already a restore, which was about 2 weeks back. The ACRONIS data on an old booth are brought in this case. The following backups are OK,  but getting an error message. I no longer know the exact text. There are files on the backup media, which ACRONIS still does not know.

QUESTION: Know someone, in which files/libraries the data by ACRONIS, which are responsible for the creation of the version chains?

I would then daily backup this library and also bring back after a restore of the entire system. ACRONIS would be always on a proper level.

Is this procedure right? Or I make a mistake here?

Dieter

Dieter, please see post: http://forum.acronis.com/forum/53765#comment-166335 which may answer your question about where Acronis information is stored.

The other option here is to run a validation of your backup tasks after completing a restore to have it check the information which is held and give you any options for any errors found.
