Where is Plus Pack in the 2012 GUI? Don't see it.

Thread needs solution

I installed 2012 over my 2010 and then installed Plus Pack following the directions, but where is it?
I don't see it when I open Acronis 2012.
BTW, it was very hard to find where the logs can be viewed so I guess Plus Pack is well hidden somewhere too....or is it supposed to be a disk to use at new computer startup...if so, how do I create such a disk?
Thanks.

Hope,
Click on the question mark in upper right corner and then click on the about option and you should see the version that is installed on your computer and the description will include the Plus pack, if installed. Current build of the 2012 version is 6131.

In the Add/Remove programs, the plus pack will also be listed under the alphabet letter P and NOT under Acronis. Duh!

The Plus Pack is most visually apparent when using the bootable media Recovery CD. The plus pack is used for restoring to dis-similar hardware--such as when a motherboard or video card has been changed and the drivers are different. The plus pack is not normally used on a new computer all of the hardware is different and you would not want to overwrite the brand new operating system.

I personally have never used the PlusPack options but there is quite a bit of reference material about its use.

If you have not done so, then create a new Rescue CD so the CD will include the new version and the plus pack options.

Thanks, Grover, you are the best. Appreciate your taking the time to answer.
Yeah, it's not something I need to use right now and may never use, just wanted to know where the heck it was. LOL
