Which Drive to install to ?

Thread needs solution

Hullo, do I have to install True Image Home on the main (C:) or can it be installed on the backup hard drive (E:) ?

Reason, because I have an SSD with Win 7 O/S as C: so the less to install on that the better. Main purpose is for the cloning part.

Thanks for your time!

Richard,

You can install ATI on the E: backup, but I don't think this will help you achieve much. If you need to restore your system disk, it is highly recommended to do it from the recovery CD anyway.

My current Acronis Trueimage is on the C disk and the program size is over 24GB. If I could move the folder that would freeup space on C. If I try to move the folder to an internal slave drive I get an error 0x80070057.

Could I uninstall Acronis program from C and reinstall to the slave drive? During installation does it ask for disk selection? What do you think of this approach?
