Who killed my backups?

Thread needs solution

I started using ATIH 2012+plus pack (build 6151) recently using it to backup from 3 PCs to 1 QNAP NAS via SMB.
2 PCs run Windows 7 64 bit and 1 runs XP SP3 32 bit
Backup is made via LAN (Gigabit or WiFi-N)
I'm experiencing a crazy behaviour on a W7 PC: I set a file backup (some folders) with the following schema: Differential + create a complete backup after 4 differential + keep only earlier 3 chains.
I expected to see the number of backup grow to 15 (3 chains made of 1 complete + 4 differentials) before see some file be automatic deleted. Today (is the day 5) i saw disappear the complete backup of the only chain I have. I've run again the job and I saw creatin a new complete and delete ALL the other backup files.
I setup very carefully the job and I cannot understand why ATIH behavies in this way.
I'm somewhat disappointed and I'm wandering if my old backup software was better...

Simulate editing the task for the problem backup and see if your backup scheme looks like this. You are correct in your expectations.

After backup 16 is completed, backups 1-5 will be deleted.
Backups 17-21 will be completed.
After backup 21, then 6-10 will be deleted and continues.

Yes, these are exactly the settings of the job concerned. So, why ATIH deletes backup file when only 4 backup files are on the NAS? It's a bug?
