What does your path script now look like?

Are you saying that the  Windows\System32 path entry is now missing? Would CMD still work if the path to the system folder is missing?.

Acronis does make an addition to the  path set, it adds in C:Program Files\common files\Acronis\SnapAPI

it wasn't an addition it was just  C:Program Files\common files\Acronis\SnapAPI so attrib for exemple stoped working and i was really busy at the time and if i didn't know what path is it would have drive me crazy for hours especilly in windows 7 so i really don't understand why you do that and beside installing the latest version backup and recovery 10 installer doesn't even works well for me and i have uninstalled everyting that was installed but this "addition" remain there non the less even that i don't have acronis at all at the moment and it would stay this way for a few weeks while i'm abroad so let's hope next version would work better.:)

and by the way this forum is very slow can you fix this problem please?

and no i don't any problems with my own internet connection.:)

cya later and bye for now.:)

1. I do not work for acronis.

2. I realise English may not be your first language, but please use punctuation, it was invented for a reason - your posts would be easier to read and understand.

3. Re read what I said, the path I mentioned does not exist until an Acronis product is installed, therefore it is an addition to the path settings.

4. If you can still run the CMD then the C:\Windows\System32 entry must still be in your path settings.

5. As Attrib.exe lives in the System32 directory (folder) and your path settings still have a pointer to that location Attrib should still run.

6. Is the Attrib program still in your Win32 folder?

I have Windows 7 and have installed ABR10, TI2009 and TI2010 on it and haven't suffered the problem you mentioned, and no one else has mentioned such a problem (I am talking about TI and your attrib problem here) that I'm aware of.

I just don't see how TI can stop your CMD based attrib from running. The only possibility would be some sort of corruption when TI added it's own path settings, which would be very unusual I would think.
