why so many 'snapapi2010-08-03_08-52-50.log' files on the C drive
I have noticed that there are countless log files 'named above' stored on the base section of the C drive.
that being not even in a folder.
1 - why are there so many ?
2 - why do they not auto delete after a period of time ?
3 - is it ok to delete them ?

Hello all,
Thank you for your posts. I will definitely help you with this.
This issue occurs because the Acronis SnapApi update package was installed with the option - Enable logging. This automatically creates log files every time a backup is run and they are saved to the root of the C: drive. We use this option when there are problems with the SnapApi low-level drivers, and ask our Customers to install the update with the Enable logging option enabled so that we can study the logs.
You can certainly delete the log text files and, to get rid of this inconvenience, uninstall the SnapApi update from Windows add/remove programs and re-install it. By default, the logging is disabled.
Please let me know if you have additional questions.
Thank you.
