Why is Syncagentsrv.exe consuming resources 24/7 even though I do not use Acronis Cloud?

Customer Support: Syncagentsrv.exe is designed to sync files and folders Acronis cloud. Unfortunately it does consume resources even when you are not using cloud sync. We plan to have that fixed with our next release. In the meantime refer to KB###### for the steps to prevent it from consuming resources 24/7. Customer Support: The Syncagentsrv.exe services is used to perform the synchronization feature, which we have in Acronis True Image 2015 application.

I love it! But are the customer service people clever enough to appreciate the incompetency displayed by your recording?

I just noticed in my firewall that Syncagentsrv and Trueimagemonitor are both using network resources continuously. It's not high-usage, but it should be zero usage. In 2016 you also have Acronis Managed Machine Service Mini constantly accessing the network. Then there's the scheduling service, always consuming cycles even if you never use scheduling.

With these services unnecessarily slowing the computer when you're NOT using True Image, you wonder if the programming department is equally competent to the customer service as indicated by your posting!

 

Jack, some of these Acronis services can be disabled if they are not being used.  There are a number of batch scripts that the MVP's have created for this purpose to make life easier in this respect.
