Win 10 Cloning - True Image 2016

Thread needs solution

I'm reading, but not comprehending.

I have a new computer with Win 10 home edition and the lastest/greatest Acronis True Image 2016. Build number 6027.

The computer came with a 128gb SSD and a 2tb hard drive.

I added a 512gb SSD, partitioned it and it is working as expected.

I quickly realized I should make the 512gb SSD my boot and primary drive. Sector sizes are the same on both drives. Boot drive is c: and second SSD drive is i:.

I expected to be able to clone c: to i:, allowing I: to keep its partition size. I choose the proper settings in the application and press process. It tells me it is computing the time to process, tells me to restart, the computer restarts and then...nothing.

I've looked for a log but have found nothing. From what I've read in the forums, it's as though I shouldn't have both drives in the same computer when I do this, but they are both SATA and I don't know of a way to externalize one of them.

Can anyone advise?

Regards,

Glenn
