Win7 Image Restored on a Second Partition Does Not Boot (1st Partition Ok)

Hi all,

This is what I have.....

Disk #1 with WinXP, and after that, installed Win7 (dual boot).
Disk #2 with two empty partitions.

I created an image (using Acronis 2010) of the Win7 install and restored it on the firt partion on disk #2.

Didn't boot. I had to do a repair (two times). After that, disk #2 booted with Win7 without any problems.

Then, I created a second (new) image of the working partition of disk #2.

Restored this image to disk #2 second partition, but it is not recognized by Windows 7 (no startup menu).

Probably I´m doing something wrong but no idea what it is.

I´d like to have the windows startup menu to choose between the two Win7 partitions.

Any help is more than welcome.
