Window 32 bit trying to save over homegroup to win 7 64 pro network share wot working
homegroup setup and can read/write to folder on network share
Even setup 'everyone as full acces to the share and file premissions on sharing server.
Tried KB article and Acronis still asking for username/password whenever i try starting a backup to no avail .
Cannot do backup over network share.
Username has a 'space' in it aka 'first last' Is this a factor?
I tried creating new user with no spaces and set permission, all works on windows explorer, but aconis still not work
changed acronis scheduler to run ans new 'no-spaced' username but still not avail.
manually set in path and pressed 'enter' to pre do credential as per KN article, but test wtill fail on the ENTER
I have 6 license at home to back all computers and need network share back capabilities.
Or will be issuing a refund.
NT backup works fine. no issues.
mapping drive manually direct to file share works fine aswell.
But manual acronis backup to mapped drive fails.
Preferred acronis 10, It worked. 11 is terrible interface. Ugly and slow and restrictive.
No way to enter a username with NO PASSWORD, acronis not allow this?
Can i downgrade license to acronis 10 ?
