Windows 10 and True Image 2013

Thread needs solution

Hello everyone!

I formally used True Image 2010 on Windows 7 and now get the update to Windows 10. So I think it wont work anymore.

At home I have a lizenz of True Image 2013 and I read about, that it would work with Windows 10 without any problems.

Is this true?

I like Acronis and True Image, but if I dont must, I dont wanna buy a new Version, so I will ask here. Mybe if it would work I can wait for the 2016 version or so and I can use 2013 meanwhile.

Can I use Acronis True Image 2013 without problems under Windows 10?

Greetings!

From what Acronis has published, only 2015 and 2016 will support Windows 10.

2013 did not support Win 8.1

Support is different that will it run backups and restores, I understand that only a latest versions can be actively supported.

Has anyone actually completed the upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 7 with TI 2013 loaded on P.C.?  Seems it should work fine, but this PC software doesn't seem to be as upward compatibile as mainframe software I worked on for many years.  I can understand why Acronis doesn't support it, but seems it should work and convert.  Software is just executing code and backing up data, but then again Windows 10 may be using interrupts, exits, registerys different or changed directory structures?
