With Windows 10 to be released next month, where is the statement of "intent to support" from Acronis
Where is Acronis's "we intend to support" Windows 10 statement? With this product releasing next month, how will customer's know whether (and about when) Acronis will support the new operating system?

I've been running the Window 10 Preview on one of my systems. I have ATI2015 installed on that machine. It seems to run OK. I even tried a full recovery to empty drive and then booted it and it ran like it did before. Looks like it works in my configuration.

Hi Everyone!
We are going to add basic Windows 10 support into Acronis True Image 2015 after OS is officially released.
Thank you.

Been putting it off just because of this...

If I was you (and if I would of known), I would wait for 2016. Hopefully the UI will be better than the 2015 version. Not saying 2015 doesn't work, but its such a departure from 2014 and earlier versions and it has reduced capability.
Just saying - search this forum.

hey storageman, ok, thanks for the info.
I did some searching and I believe you're right, I'll
wait for 2016 and see if it's improved over 2015.

Not what you asked but maybe helpful.

If you were disappointed with 2015, other than hope, what gives you any clue that 2016 will be any different?

Hello
Ok for that ..
But how much it will cost ?
Whereas Microsoft will offer at the end of july a free update from Windows 7 or Windows 8 for licencied owners to migrate to windows 10
This is not the Acronis policy which multiplies paying update or by a minor set days that does not add much interest or because of changing the operating system that can be understood , but it makes a lot of money each time by the frequency of updates !!!
Let know that fact to your sales department
Thks for info

What does Acronis define as BASIC SUPPORT FOR WINDOWS 10 in 2015? How is that different from FULL SUPPORT?
On the Acronis website there is no mention of w10 support in 2015

Support AFTER OS is officially released? How long after? To be honest, I'm shocked you don't already have Windows 10 support as the preview and RCs have been around for months! What are customers supposed to do until you officially support Windows 10?
Please tell us exactly what will and wont work when Windows 10 is released, and we can then make an informed decision as to whether we move to Windows 10 or wait until there is full support. If you think TI will not be working with Windows 10 when that is released, please say so before a bunch of your customers update for free and then find their backup solution doesn't work.
Many thanks,
Mark
