Windows 7 Task Scheduler

Thread needs solution

Can Windows 7 Task Scheduler run True Image 2013 backup tasks? If so, how are the Acronis tasks identified to Win7? If not then Acronis needs to add more flexibility to its scheduler, like running a backup every other week/month, or every 3 months, etc. I have a particular need for this capability because I need to alternate the target drives for my backups and want to do this automatically.

Good product. I have had a couple of hiccups with it but overall a good tool. I have a Windows task that precedes the running of my backups and would love to be able to do all in one task.

Windows 7-64 bit, Acronis True Image 2013, Build 6514, Sync agent version: 16,0,0,6682
Follow-up question: Why would I get the following message,

'Cannot find version 1.
You may have moved or deleted it. Please click
Browse and specify its location, or ignore this message.:
Retry// Cancel/: User response: Cancel',
where the backup appears to have actually ran and validated successfully?

Per James F's solution for using Windows Task Scheduler with Acronis (thanks James), I scheduled Win to initiate two programs: (1) to disconnect my internet access, and (2) run the ATI backup task. Everything appears to have executed successfully with the exception of the message. Upon closer examination I discovered that the backup was indeed good. I even tested it by a recovering a file from it, which was fine. I don't understand why the message appeared.

I had scheduled the Win task to run on the 7th. The next morning I checked and saw that the computer was still on. Nothing was happening but I saw the message, so I opened ATI to investigate further. I had configured the ATI task to shutdown the computer upon successful completion. I ran the Win task with highest privileges but did not specify computer shutdown. I don't know whether these 2 factors had any part with creating the message but thought I'd add that information.

I would have cut-n-paste the actual messages from Acronis but was not successful.
