Windows 7 User Login Screen when executing a backup
I am running ATI 2011 Plus on Windows 7 Ultimate. I implemented the Chain2Go batch utilities and put the batch file name in the pre-processing area of the backup configuration.
Now whenever the backup starts the first thing I get is a Windows login screen wanting my username and backup. I get this when i have the backup configured and i click backup now. Since I want the backups to run automatically when I am asleep I have to make this go away.,
Any ideas?

If you are imaging to a backup share, you might need to delete the entry in Windows Credentials. TI will ask for it again and then it shouldn't do after that.

1. This is my first experience with C2G or ATI.
2. It appears that when ever I try to execute a backup from an ATI window, or save a backup I defined within ATI I get the login window. However, I let everything run overnight and the backups worked.
So I guess we can chalk this up to "Stupid Bill Gates Window Tricks" and move on. Sorry about the premature panic.

Larry,
The login problem is NOT something you have to accept. This is not the norm.
On the scheduler page of the TI task, recheck the password settings via these two references.
If you do not resolve this, post again and I will get you some assistance.

Grover,
The login screen i am getting is associated with erro 1326 and it is not associated with the pre-backup processing commands (as I have found out). I believe it is the login screen collecting info to make an entry into the windows scheduler. (I've been dinking with this quite a bit and your links above helped me out quite a bit.)
Everything is OK now, and I appreciate your energy, concern and help. Thanks
