Is Windows 8 Storage Spaces Supported?

Thread needs solution

I'm having trouble determining if Windows 8 Storage Spaces is supported. I'm running TIH 2014 Bld 6673 on Windows 8.1. I've found some information that implies Storage Spaces is supported, but I cannot find any mention of ReFS File System (used by Storage Spaces) being supported. In my case, I don't care about stand alone recovery; my system/boot drive is NTFS. I just need to know whether I can backup/recover files on a Windows 8 Storage Spaces mirrored drive. Backup seemed to be working, but recently my incremental suddenly wanted to backup everything all over again, thus my concern. If this is not supported, I'll be forced to go back to NTFS (don't want to).

Can anyone shed any light?

Thanks

Not sure if this will help but, here is support link.

Thanks. No, this does not help. Already checked the doc. It DOES NOT list ReFS as a supported file system. It does say that Windows 8.1 is supported, however, without ReFS, I don't see how Storage Spaces could be supported.

Sorry, wrong link.

RiesFS is supported with some conditions. Search the Web Help page for supported filesystems for details. I am unable to post the correct page link.

I think you mean ReiserFS. ReiserFS is for Linux and is not the same as Microsoft's ReFS (Resilient File System).

Correct, my mistake entirely.
