Windows 8.1 partitions

Yes I am using True Image 2014 and when I restore my Windows 8.1 computer the recovery partition get's corrupted. Basically it says I have to reinstall from my system images disk that came with my computer to reset everything. I thought that's why I made a backup of my drive with True Image? Does True Image not work with system restore partitions? Any help would be great.
