Windows Backup never work again

I installed true image home 2011.
I dislike the acronis continous backup and unistalled it.
Now, the windows backup does not work. I cannot open the windows.
I click in the windows backup option in the control pannel and nothing happends.

Is there a way to fix this.

This is a known issue and has happened to me also.Acronis True Image leaves it's handler in the registry after the uninstall.There used to be a sticky in the forums explaining how to edit the registry,and also a utility to do it automatically,to restore windows backup but I can't seem to find it anymore.
