Windows can't find file

Thread needs solution

I am running ATI Home 2010, v1`3.0.746 Build 6,053. After making a clean install of Windows 7 - 64bit, my intentions were to use ATI Home 2010 to restore most program files and Apps. I was using a incremental and full backup saved on an external HDD. These files had been validated and assigned a file number by ATI Home 2010. Using Windows, when I click on the file in Data Recovery and Backup Management I get this notice: 'Windows cannot find 'D:\system_C_F_8_2010.tib\8143-09......etc.' Make sure you have typed the name correctly and then try again.
Here is my question: If Acronis assigned the file number and I didn't type anything, how could I have typed the name incorrectly?. I am just an old duffer who has just enough knowledge to install new hard drives and run a clean install of an upgrade to Windows 7. And it shouldn't take any more than that to utilize this backup and restore utility. I am technically challenged however I ain't stupid. I made manual backups and I have Carbonite. It is just that I feel that it should not be this difficult to run a utility such as this. This forum is full of people who are having all kinds of problems and, for a large part as I can determine, not finding good answers. I made a bootable media of my old system but I am afraid to try to use it. I guess that there is a a solution some where in the manual but I couldn't find it.

TI 2010 isn't embedded into W7 file and backup manager, that is one of the new features of 2011.

Does the image open in either Windows Explorer or by mounting in True Image?
