Windows Installer Problem after a Repair of ATI 2010.7046

Thread needs solution

Hi, I need help on the following problem.

System: Windows XP SP3

I have done 2 repair runs with the installer of ATI 2010.7046. Since I have done the repair always when I start ATI Windows Installer creates 2 times (acc. to the number of repair runs I assume) 2 entries:

1. A Warning Message:
Source: MsiInstaller
Number: 1015
Text: Es konnte keine Verbindung mit dem Server hergestellt werden. Fehler: 0x800401F0
(engl: No connection to the sever could be done. Error: 0x800401F0)

2. A Information Message:
Source: MsiInstaller
Number: 1035
Text: Das Produkt wurde durch Windows Installer neu konfiguriert. Produktname: Acronis True Image Home. Produktversion: 13.0.7046. Produktsprache: 1031. Erfolg- bzw. Fehlerstatus der neuen Konfiguration: 0.
(engl: The product was reconfigured by Windows Installer. Product name: Acronis True Image Home. Product version: 13.0.7046. Product language: 1031. Success- or error- state of the new configuration: 0.

Now I have problems installing other software products. I have done a total uninstall of ATI with Devcon utility, Windows Installer Clean Up tool and the Acronis clean up tool (because, as everyone knows, Acronis TI uninstallation has never worked). I have wriitten a new MBR and Bootrecord to disk. I have cleaned the registry of all entries made by Acronis TI. After this procedure everything works fine again. I have tried to reinstall Acronis TI, but the error comes back immediately. Due to earlier tests and problems I had with ATI I know that this is a problem of the repair process with ATI version 2010.7046. It did not happen with the earlier version 2010.6053 when doing a repair. In the past it helped to uninstall ATI and to reinstall the older version and then installing the newer version. But now I can not remove this error anymore.

What can I do other then uninstalling ATI???

ATI is buggy then hell, but still the fastest backup program I can find. Also other backup solutions I have tested are buggy. So far ATI is still the best hell I could find :)

Any ideas or do I have to remove it to get my system back?

Thank you in advance.
