Windows Live Sync is this a problem?

Thread needs solution

Using 2 PC's (XP Pro SP3) and Windows 7 Pro with a Data File on Live Sync.
Experiments with True Image 2010 on the Windows 7 PC are not good.
The backups fail to recove with "unable to write file " error message.
The file is within the Data file I have set up to Sync betewwen PC's.
Am I right in thinking this is an issue with doing a backup and restore ?

I've been using Live Sync for many months without problems. If you're recovering a large file that is taking a long time to recover, LiveSync may be seeing it as a changed/new file and try to sync it at the same time. If you right-click on the LiveSync icon in your tray and select "Activity", it'll tell you what file it's processing at the moment. If it's not listed, then it's a different issue.

Try recovering with LiveSync off.
