Windows XP wont finish booting with TI 2010 plus pack

Thread needs solution

I installed TI 2010 about a couple of weeks ago and yesterday when I booted Windows XP it got about half way through the boot process and Windows crashed.
My desktop comes up and loads my anti virus, firewall etc. At some point during this process it crashes to a blue scree.

I booted in with safe mode and after a couple of days of trying to fix it, it still wont boot.

I restored an image and it restored fine but still wont finsish booting.

I uninstalled TI in safe mode and ran the cleanup utility and it still wont finish booting.

Any suggestions or solutions?
Thanks

You may have an issue with your hardware--such as fan or head issue or bad drive.

If you boot with the TI Bootable Media Rescue CD and restore the drive C plus restore the Mbr/track0,
the system should boot if you have no new hardware issues.

If any of your drives are identical to your boot drive, I would disconnect the data cable until you get your issue resolved.

If you also have a backup of everything (even if not current) which includes all partitions, you could restore this backup and choose all partitions to be restored plus recover the disk signature option. If this makes the system bootable, then you could later restore a more current backup of Drive C if you should have a desire.

Perhaps some of others more experienced in troubleshooting can also respond to your posting.

To find out what is causing the blue screen you can download a free program called Blue Screen View from Web site: http://www.nirsoft.net

If you can boot far enough to run this free program it will tell you what is causing the BSOD.
